WHAT IS THE UNITED NETWORK OF STUDENT LEADERS?
-A newly formed organization consisting of 2 student representatives from each of the 20 high schools* in ESO Network 6, who meet once a month at one of our high schools.
WHY DID WE START THIS?
· To address a need identified by the Coordinators’ of Student Activities and the Principals of our Network High Schools;
· To provide the students of ESO Network 6 with a voice in the organization, goals, structure, and work of our network;
· To provide a forum for student communication among themselves and with their schools’ administration and the adult leadership of our network;
· To develop inter-school activities, projects and resources;
· To develop leadership skills in our students and provide them with a more global forum to apply these skills;
· To assist students in the development of individual and collective perspectives within the context of their own educational experiences.
